CHESA works closely with US-based and international partners aligned with its mission, including academic organizations, professional societies, advocacy groups and not-for-profit and volunteer organizations. CHESA’s work spans all surgical and perioperative specialties and tackles a wide range of challenges in global health.

CHESA uses its platform to elevate the voices of health providers and the global community confronting pressing challenges in surgery and perioperative care and the societal forces that shape them. We seek to shed light in areas that have been less visible, and advocate for a social justice based approach to global surgery.
