Please help support General Surgery Trainees in Uganda to complete certified training as Surgeons in the College of Surgeons of East, Central and South Africa (COSECSA). In Uganda there are only ~250 surgeons for a population of over 40 million. As a result, most people do not have access to safe surgical care.
A significant barrier to scaling up the surgical workforce is the cost of training. We are working to support Ugandan surgeons who have demonstrated commitment to training and serving communities with limited access to care in Uganda.
